The Tufted Puffins In Chattanooga
The Tufted Puffins recently traveled to Chattanooga Tennessee to record at Black Arts Toneworks studio for a studio live compilation to be released early next year. After a raucus in studio set the dust seems to have settled on "Rock and Roll" being the tune to make it on the record. This is a full throttle version of an already hammering tune so you don't want to miss it. More info on the record as we get it.
After the recording we played a set to an amazing fun crowd with our new friends and killer musicians Genki Genki Panic. The Panic put aside their regular set for the evening to do all Bad Brains covers in a blistering show. Great night and a great time! We hope to bring Genki Genki Panic to Cleveland when they tour in the spring.
The Puffins open for the Dickies and the Queers
The Tufted Puffins will be opening for punk icons the Dickies and Boston's notorious Queers on November 22nd at the Grog shop. If you've never seen the Dickies that are possibly the most fun energetic band to come out of the whole L.A. punk scene in the 70's. Leonard has one of the best voices in punk and the guitar player is phenominal. Come watch Baker get drunk and act like a teenage fan boy in front of his idols.
The show starts at 8:30 with Perverts Again at the Grog Shop in Cleveland. The Puffins play second. Don't miss this one!
